CLAIRE O. WOOD, Partner. Ms. Wood's primary focus is on real estate matters and transactions involving commercial business entries and non-profit organizations. In the area of real estate, Ms. Wood's experience includes representation of sellers, purchasers, lenders and developers on real property conveyances and financing transactions, including construction and permanent mortgage loans, and cooperative and condominium matters. Ms. Wood supervises the Firm's residential loan closing unit.

Her representation of businesses includes negotiation and closing of commercial loans and SBA loans and refinancing; advising clients regarding business structuring and management issues; and commercial leasing and insurance matters.

Ms. Wood also has experience in the field of entertainment law where she has represented artists and performers from different disciplines.

Ms. Wood received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut in 1974 and her law degree from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1980. She is a member of the bar of the States of New York and Louisiana and speaks fluent French.
