Wood, Rafalsky and Wood LLP and Harter, Secrest & Emery LLP Announce Mutual Alliance
-Alliance Enhances Diversity Options for Clients-
The minority-owned law firm of Wood, Rafalsky & Wood LLP and the 100-attorney corporate law firm of Harter, Secrest & Emery LLP have formed an alliance to better serve business clients seeking to diversity their providers of legal services.
As part of the alliance, Rochester-based Harter, Secrest & Emery (HS&E) is opening a new office in New York City adjacent to the Wood, Rafalsky & Wood offices at 62 William Street in the Wall Street area. While the formal alliance is new, the two law firms have enjoyed an active relationship for more than a decade, teaming on various matters to serve businesses, trade associations and large non-for-profit corporations in litigation and transactional work. Under the alliance, the two firms will continue to be separate and distinct law partnerships. The two firms will share their collective resources in a unified effort, but only for those clients who expressly retain both firms for particular undertakings.
